I'm creating a 1/1 scale Velociraptor egg nest similar to the scene in the first Jurassic Park movie where Dr. Grant discovers that the dinos are breedng. I will be laying out a fairly large number of eggs in a ring formation, but am not sure how buried in the dirt the eggs would be and whether or not the narrow ends would be pointing in toward the center of the nest? I have searched for images of fossil nests on the net, but haven't found anything much of use. Any help would be appreciated!

I know that Troodon laid about 6 3ggd in 2 rows of 3 or 3 rows of 2. They were very neat and organized!
