After 10 hours of work some details are added, here the comparison screenshot were you can see the details before and after zbrush work. Here the result: Some people can find there are too much details but it is like the original model and the texture will mask a lot of details. I now must to work on the rest of the body. ;D

Awesome work! Can you show us colours? When are you going to make them move?

I just finished to add all the details I wanted to to the Raptor model. It is now ready to be textured. Even if it is not without defaults I think it is not bad at all. This is my most beautiful and complicated model I think. I will try to texture it next week if I have time. ;D

I'll do it when I'll be back to Paris, for now I'm in Los Angeles and I have nor the time, nor the graphic tablet to do it.

The technique you can learn on the book and on internet, but you need to know that you will ( like me my friend) pass a very very very long time before you understand how all work. After you need a very powerfull computer and some very expensive material to get these result (of course if you do it with a 3d scanner process like me). If you don't use 3d scanning you can just buy a powerfull pc, the 3d softwares, a graphic tablet ( you can without but highly prefered) and thousand of hours working on internet to try to understand. But If you really want it you'll do it. Nobody teach me 3d, I learnt everything on internet and on the books and here is the result.

Yes I used polypainting to do both of them, when I have high resolution picture references I can create awesome dino digital doubles.
