Yes, a metal rod/armature would be important for horns. Milliput is a two part clay that hardens when mixed within 4 hours and is really rock hard. This can then be filed, sanded, drilled, molded and/or painted.

Is there any way to fix milliput once it hardens, or do you have to finish it within 4 hours?
You should use that for the Dilo's crests.

No progress on the Trike yet. Milliput gives you about 1 hour working time, and is constantly hardening once mixed. You need to work fast on smaller less complex parts, but as it hardens, it can be good for sculpting fine details. Use with water to smooth. Milliput would not be suitable for creating full body dinosaurs. If you want a clay that goes hard, try Supersculpy. This gives you many hours of working time and can be baked later in the oven to harden fully. Then it can be painted. It has a kinda bubblegum consistancy. There're some available at stores such as www.tiranti.co.uk ;D

This material does not look like anything suitable for doing serious sculpture work with. As jpdude11 says... it looks more of a toy.

I've seen advertising for stuff called Miracle Putty here in my country. Are you familiar with that Supersaurus?
