Not really a blooper, but an interesting note: In the Jurassic Park film, the Dilophosaurus (Spitter) was portrayed as having an extending frill (like the frilled lizard of today) and the ability to spit venom to immobilise its prey. According to scientific research on the fossils, there's no evidence to support the existance for these special features, and so it's clear that some artistic licence was used to make the Dilophosaur more interesting and less likely to be confused with the Raptors. It was also reduced in size from the real-life 12ft dinosaur to just 4ft. This may have been done to make the scene with Dennis Nedry possible, and again to avoid confusion with the Raptors. Feel free to comment...

well... ya the frill and venom have never been proven. but the one in the 1st film was probably a juvenile.

Im going to stick with the juvi theory, but the dilo can get as large as 20 feet, now that is a scary beast.

I believe that too, as Nedry does actually say " I thought you were one of your big brothers, you're not so bad".

I think even Nedry would know what the Rex is like, especially as they had one. Don't you think he would had checked it out as least once in the time he's been working there?
When he referred to 'Big brothers', I really think he means the adult Spitters. He may have recognised the calls it made before he turned around to face it, and thought it might be an adult Spitter, then was relieved to find a juvenile.
Or, if he hadn't realised he was in the Spitter pen, he might had thought the calls came from another, yet possibly still dangerous dino. But I doubt he'd thought an adult rex would make little sounds like the young Dillo was making.

true i think that one of the biggest mistakes that some people make is putting 3 fingers on the rex instead of 2

This site is really interesting. Since it's all about dinosaurs, I started liking dinosaurs since my nephew likes dinosaurs too. It is like every minute and every day he used to watch all about dinosaurs. Since I am baby sitting him, me myself became interested as well. We have the same likes and we also loves playing online games like Among Us, free Online for PC. This one is so popular you can also visit their website to download here. It's the most trending game right now and it is so popular, it is played and streamed live by famous YouTubers and online influencers too.
