This thread is for the discussion of a new and improved dinosaur themed park in the making! The park is to include some of the most realistic dinosaur models and animatronics ever seen and will have something for everyone (not just the kids)! Please use this thead to share any ideas you may have with other members and help make this the dinosaur park that fans had long been waiting for. If you have ideas for park attractions, rides, dinosaur species etc... please share them here.

I think it's time we had a proper large dinosaur park with realistic dinos and not the usual cheaper stuff we've been shown so far. I mean, they're ok, don't get me wrong, but wouldn't it be great to see more believeable animatronics in an outdoor enviroment? ;D
There must be some way of weather proofing them if that's the issue, as the Parasaurolophus on the JP water ride is completely submerged at one point, and there's also a Brachiosaur in the water too, so it must be possible. Right?

The Jurassic park the ride I've been to. My favorite ride) which I gave my girlfriend the first Kiss, is decent but not spectacular.
The Dinosaurs don't look anything like the movie, except for the T-rex at the end and the dilophosaurus, and the raptors, but that's about it. I think the animatronics used at StanWinstons would have been a good idea to put on the ride, but the durability of the animatronics would not sustain the harsh environment and daily usage it receives from water.
A perfect Jurassic park ride would be having all of the dinosaurs exactly 100% just like in the movie, and with more danger. - Imagine seeing the spinosaurus swim underneath the water as the boat drifts on. What's needed is more detail, and more accuracy and more terror.
Weather proofing the animatronics is possible, but there is always the risk of paint loss, and material aging over time, but they should have several of the same animatronics ready for replacement when needed.

A name for the park hasn't been decided yet, but here's a possibility:

sounds kind of corny. How about Cretaceous Land? and you should have one with the animotronic spinosaurus fishing.

The park is to feature dinosaurs, as well as flying and marine reptiles from all the three main eras, which is why I thought up Mesozoic World. The Mesozoic period contains the Triassic, Jurassic and Cretaceous periods.

Oh. is it going to have models from jurassic park, or your own design? I would like my test park to have as many of the JP designs as possible, as I don't believe I will get the permission/chance to use those in the actual public park. It's more than likely I will be using my own designs in the public park. I'd imagine Universal would expect huge royalties for their JP dinos.
