I have been buying dinosaur and modern animals from safari LTD for years, and they finally made JP Canon dinosaurs last year. (They just discontinued the JP brachiosaurus though
) The velociraptor is the best JP canon there. Anyway, here's my E-letter that I sent to them:
I have some suggestions/questions for the Safari LTD company, Here they are.
1) Suggestions for Great Dinosaur Line: Juvenile, Male, & Female Tyrannosaurus rex, an adult and juvenile Stegosaurus stenops, an adult and juvenile Triceratops horridus (Needs updating on juvenile), Adult Dilophosaurus wetherilli, an adult Brachiosaurus Branchai (now called Giraffithan or something like that), A male, female, and some juvenile velociraptors, Adult Parasaurolophus, standing erect and on all fours, Compsognathus longipes pack, males, females, a few Gallimimus bullatus, possibly in 4 or 5 different poses, a really big (largest ever dinosaur replica from your company) Mamenchisaurus sinocanadorum! Pachycephalosaurus wyomingensis would be nice too, maybe in a head butting pose and a neutral pose, Pteranodon sternbergi would be nice, or at least a repaint. These would replace the current ones.
2) Why didn't you make new animals for the Barnyard Buddies series for 2010!
3) Suggestions for Wildlife wonders: Okapi, Dromedary and bactrian camels, a kangaroo, kudu, ostrich, flamingo, peathingy, jaguar, and possibly small birds in a boxed set.
4) Why didn't you release the so-called '2010' brachiosaurus in 2008 when it was supposed to be released?
5) Suggestions for Barnyard buddies: Better, more realistic, holstein cow, pygmy goat, llama or alpaca, chickens and rabbits/guinea pigs in boxed set, hampsire pigs (not replacing sow), suffolk (blackfaced) sheep, a wooden barn, painted the classic white and red colour and a rabbit hutch.
6) How come your 2010 models (like kentrosaurus and the incredible creatures iguana) are much smaller than other models and many are scaled down?
7) I hope to see these in 2011 and I'll send concept drawings soon!
8) I am sending this to the Hong Kong Safari LTD and Customer service in Florida. Please Reply!
You can see the replicas at safariltd.com !
