However I dint know what to paint it with , and there's also an coating/gloss on it so I'm not sure it I take it off first and then paint or just paint over it. So I need to know what to do and how to do it plz help me

First of all, I would buy a spare jeep so that you have a backup if you ruin it in the process of making it.

How did you apply the thinner? A fine brush may have been best to avoid getting the aggressive substance on plastic/rubber areas.
