Inspired by Papo's Spino and the fact I'm getting more and more requests from you guys, I have started to build an armature for a 17.5 inch long Spinosaurus model maquette. It will be sculpted in a neutral position to start, but I may do different postures for it later on. I'll be able to get pics up this weekend coming of my progress. Let me know if anyone's interested in one of these? Update!I've just made a miniature oven using a small hairdrier and tin-foil coated pot & lid! Now I can soften my blobs of clay easily to apply to the Spino armature. I've started adding the clay to the model and have roughed in the basic shape. I will post pics tomorrow hopefully. The resin kit casts will likely consist of at least 8 pieces. The next size up version later (if this small one is a successful seller) will be approx 3ft, then 5ft. 2nd Update! Here's a quick rough in of the body, tail and head. The head is just cast from a Papo model, but I will replace that later with a better sculpt (no limbs yet).
