I'm looking to do a few of the JP Tour Vehicles and have identified the model as being a 1991 Ford Explorer. I know one or two miniature diecast /plastic models exist out there, but have been unable to find a seller or store that does them.
Can anyone point me in the right direction? I'd like them to be in scale with the Horizon Rex or Mecedes Benz Lost World kit. If I can't find one on that scale, I'd also be interested in something of a much larger scale for a big diorama.

No worries, I've decided that the Lindberg isn't all that bad a kit anyway. The main issue with this kit is that it's a 2 door 1991 Ford Explorer, not the 4 door version. All I have to do is chop the back off and extend it with an additional set of doors.
I have stats and images of the real vehicle that show the real-life counterpart would be a mere 10" or so longer, with a slight extended wheel spacing. The other main issue with this kit is that it doesn't have the roof details, such as the clear bubble. Other details are much easier to fix.
I want to do several of these vehicles, but won't be sculpting each one from scratch. I decided it'd be easier to do one modification, then mold it and cast the other vehicle body sections as well as more wheels. This way I can also do crushed versions if I felt like doing a T-rex assault scene diorama!
